KSrelief Distributes Food Aid in Sudan and South Africa

Pretoria: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 1,500 food baskets in Khartoum State, Sudan, benefiting 10,182 displaced individuals as part of the third phase of the Food Security Support Project.

The initiative aims to provide 30,000 food baskets to displaced individuals under the voluntary return program across Gezira, Khartoum, Red Sea, Sennar, and White Nile states.

In South Africa, KSrelief also distributed 400 food baskets benefiting 2,400 individuals from 400 families as part of the "Etaam" Ramadan Food Basket Project for 1446 AH.

Currently in its fourth phase, the project aims to distribute 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting over 2.3 million people, with a total cost exceeding SAR 67.064 million.

This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts through KSrelief to support vulnerable communities worldwide, regardless of nationality or background.
